How giving works

How a donation reaches a child

  1. You give through Donorbox, a donor-advised fund or an employer match. Funds land in our US account.
  2. Our volunteer board oversees how funds are used, with larger payments requiring board approval.
  3. Funds go to World Hope Givers, our Congolese partner, which manages them through its own treasurer and accountant.
  4. Every transaction is reviewed by our treasurer, alongside monthly reports from the field.

Report a concern

Safeguarding is everyone's responsibility

If you have a concern about the safety or wellbeing of a child connected to our work, or about the conduct of anyone working with us, please tell us. Reports can be anonymous and are handled confidentially by our designated safeguarding lead.

In the DRC, World Hope Givers also runs a hotline, an anonymous complaints box and in-person reporting at both centers.
